Default location on load

Open the map already framed on a state instead of the whole country.

Default zoom (3–14)

Override the state's built-in zoom level. Leave empty to use the auto-fit.

Show closed / historic places

By default only operational distilleries are shown. Enable this to also see places that are closed or no longer in service.

Search as I move the map

Off (default): a "Search this area" button appears after panning, click to refresh the list. On: the list auto-refreshes ~600ms after panning stops. Matches the Google Maps mobile pattern.

Clears theme, panel state, default location, basemap choice, and saved sign-in, then reloads the map.
