Set on 100 acres of active farmland and adjacent to the Bluegrass Parkway, The Bardstown Bourbon Company and its nearly 40,000 square foot distillery will form the gateway to Bardstown, Kentucky, the “Bourbon Capital of the World.” Under construction since October 2014, this first-of-its-kind Napa Valley style campus will feature a custom built Vendome still and include a unique and transparent educational experience, high-end tours and tastings, integrated visitors center, event space, and eventually a restaurant and boutique hotel. Master Distiller, Steve Nally, Member of the Bourbon Hall of Fame and former Master Distiller for Maker’s Mark, brings more than 40 years of experience to The Bardstown Bourbon Company. “The Bardstown Bourbon Company will be a celebration of the Bardstown community, from the local ingredients we use to produce our product and the team that designs and builds our distillery, to the employees that distill, barrel and store our bourbons,” said David Mandell, President and CEO of The Bardstown Bourbon Company.
