Mystic Mountain Distillery

At Mystic Mountain Distillery, distilling is a four-generation passion. Our original Rocky Mountain Moonshine was born in the early 1870s in the heart of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. In the small Colorado mining town of Cripple Creek, the demand became so overwhelming that the old Model A got heavy springs and a souped up engine, becoming one of the first bootleggers of this legendary shine during the Great Depression. By the mid 1920s, our Sippin’ Hooch was well known as the best shine around. Three generations later, our moonshine and other spirits are made just as they were back in the late 1800s. Today, Brad Schroeder owns and operates Mystic Mountain Distillery in the small town of Larkspur, CO, not far from where all the excitement began nearly 150 years ago. All of our products are handcrafted in small batches, triple distilled slowly at lower temperatures with our very own Rocky Mountain sweet water, then filtered over and over again for unchallenged quality and a uniquely smooth taste. Our spirits have been perfected over three generations, and our pride and passion shows in every bottle. Mystic Mountain Distillery has been selling products locally for over 10 years, but the word has spread! Now we’re watching our company grow a fanbase across the country, and we couldn’t be more excited. Along with our original Rocky Mountain Moonshine, we have expanded to include several unique spirits that include Infused Moonshines, Whiskey, Vodka, and Gin. Try them all today!
